- 24.6 out of every adult 100,000 deaths in Pennsylvania are due to diabetes, ranking Pennsylvania 31st in the nation for diabetes-related deaths.
- In 2005, 762,000 Pennsylvania adults were diagnosed with diabetes and by 2007, 9% of the total adult population had been diagnosed with diabetes.
