- 26.1 out of every adult 100,000 deaths in Washington are due to diabetes, ranking Washington 26th in the nation for diabetes-related deaths.
- In 2005, 296,000 Washington adults were diagnosed with diabetes and by 2007, 7% of the total adult population had been diagnosed with diabetes.
